Police tape off Glasgow Clarkston Toll after serious crash as multiple roads closed

Multiple road closures are in place following a serious crash at Clarkston Toll.

Emergency services, including police and paramedics, responded to the incident at around 5.20pm on Friday, May 17, and currently remain at the scene.

Pictures seen by Glasgow Live show multiple officers in attendance with a cordon erected at Clarkston Toll. The nature of what has happened, or the extent of injuries, if any, are not yet known.

Clarkston Road is closed southbound with a diversion onto Stamperland Gardens.

Busby Road is shut northbound with a diversion onto Mearns Road.

Benview Road is closed from Stewart Drive and Eastwoodmains Road is closed from Golf Road.

Police Scotland have advised motorists to "please avoid the area and use an alternative route."
