Police Vehicles Line Los Angeles Street in Tribute to Slain Deputy

A procession of police vehicles lined a street in Los Angeles, California, on the night of Saturday, September 16, in tribute to a local deputy who was shot dead hours earlier.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer was fatally shot while sitting in his patrol car near the Palmdale Sheriff’s station early Saturday evening and later died of his injuries.

Footage posted to Facebook by the Alhambra Police Department shows police vehicles lining Marengo Street on Saturday night.

“Our hearts are heavy as we send our deepest condolences to our partners at @lasd_palmdale and to the family and friends of Deputy Clinkunbroomer during this difficult time. Ryan, your unwavering dedication will never be forgotten," the post read.
