Police want to speak to this woman after random street attack

Police have released a picture of a woman they want to speak to after an attack in Moston.

At around 7:30pm on Thursday, May 30, a woman was walking on Hollinwood Avenue when an unknown woman assaulted her before walking away, according to police.

Officers now want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

Moston Harpurhey Police (GMP) have also shared an image of a woman they want to speak to following the assault and have urged anyone who recognises her to come forward.

In an appeal posted on X Moston Harpurhey Police (GMP) said: “Do you recognise the woman pictured? Officers are appealing for information following an assault in Moston earlier this year.

“At around 7:30pm on 30th May 2024, a woman was assaulted on Hollinwood Avenue by an unknown woman.”

Anyone who has CCTV or Ring doorbell footage, or recognises the woman pictured, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting the log number 3042 of 30/05/2024.
