Pollok FC in New York Times Square takeover as Big Apple landmark hit with stunning mega screen season ticket ad

New Yorkers were unexpectedly hit with some viral Scottish football marketing as Pollok FC took over Times Square.

The West of Scotland League Premier Division outfit are trying to sell season tickets for the 2024/25 campaign. Currently sixth in the table, the Newlandsfield club are still hopeful of a top three finish and kicking on from there next season. Their loyal fanbase will be there regardless, but they may well attract visitors from further afield thanks to one fan's cheeky Times Square takeover.

Millions of locals and tourists alike pass through the famous city landmark as they go about their day in the Big Apple. The big screens are synonymous with the area of Manhattan, usually showing world famous brands, names and faces as one of the planet's premier advertising spaces. But it was about the 'Lok as their season ticket campaign took pride of place as images from the campaign were beamed to the city that never sleeps.

And with prizes frozen for next season, who's to say some might not be tempted to swap the Yankees, Nicks or Rangers (not that Rangers) for a season cheering on Stewart Maxwell's men?
