Hullabaloo in the Park, a popular family festival, is set to return to Darlington this month.

Taking place from July 26 to 28 in Darlington's South Park, the festival promises a 'spectacular' gathering of performances, music, crafts, and food organised by award-winning Theatre Hullabaloo.

The event has been a summer favourite for local families since 2021, attracting over 10,000 attendees last year.

Building on its success, 2024's Hullabaloo in the Park promises more activities for all families to enjoy.

Theatre Hullabaloo's chief executive, Ben Dickenson, and Darlington Building Society's chief executive, Andrew Craddock, are set to offer VIP guests an early preview of the event on July 1.

Mr Dickenson said, "Hullabaloo in the Park draws on Theatre Hullabaloo’s specialisms in creativity, play and theatre for young children.

"It’s a moment of joy, family connection.

"It’s a contribution to the prosperity, wellbeing, and richness of this fantastic place.

"We can’t wait to welcome families to have a fantastic time with us in South Park again this summer."
