Possible weather forces ESCC graduation inside gym

ENTERPRISE, Ala (WDHN) — The location for the 2024 Enterprise State Community College graduation ceremony has been moved due to potential severe weather.

A post from ESCC confirmed that the graduation will take place on Thursday, May 9, but inside the Lolley Gymnasium instead of outside on the grounds.

Parking procedures for the graduation will not change.

Students graduating are asked to check their email or text messages for updates, and visitors attending can go here to access updates and the parking map.

Pro-Palestinian protesters set up a new encampment at Drexel University

The University of Pennsylvania police arrested 19 pro-Palestinian protesters Friday night after they allegedly tried to occupy a campus building, the school said. The university's police department said the protesters, the majority of whom were not students, attempted to get into Fisher-Bennett Hall when campus officers and officers from the Philadelphia Police Department intervened. Officers were seen scuffling with protesters and several people were taken away in handcuffs.
