Firefighters have spent the night battling a huge blaze at an industrial estate in Poulton-le-Fylde.

Five fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were called to Aldon house on Aldon Road shortly after 7pm last night (April 23). Residents living in the area were told to shut their windows and doors if they could smell smoke.

A witness told LancsLive: "It was quite a large fire and there was a massive emergency service response. They also had the drone unit up and North West Ambulance Service was on standby."
