Pregnant Ashley Tisdale Says It’s ‘Very Cool’ Vanessa Hudgens Is Expecting Too: 'So Excited'

Tisdale and Hudgens starred together in the musical trilogy 'High School Musical' from 2006 to 2008

Ashley Tisdale is getting excited about the arrival of two High School Musical babies!

The actress, 38 — who is expecting her second baby with husband Christopher French — took part in a Q&A on her Instagram Stories on Monday, May 20, and answered a question about being pregnant at the same time as her HSM costar Vanessa Hudgens, 35.

“How cool is it that you and Vanessa are having babies at the same time?!," the question read to which Tisdale replied, “It’s very cool! I’m so excited for her and this new chapter in her life.”

Tisdale and Hudgens starred alongside each other in the hit Disney trilogy from 2006 to 2008.  While The Suite Life of Zac and Cody alum played the role of Sharpay Evans, Hudgens made her big-screen debut as Gabriella Montez.

Tisdale, who shared a series of snaps of her babymoon in Los Cabos, Mexico earlier this month, announced in March that she and French, 42, were expecting her second baby together.

"We can’t wait to meet you 💫," she wrote in her caption at the time as she shared snaps of the pair and her baby bump. Their 3-year-old daughter Jupiter Iris also appeared in the carousel, while French wrote in the comments, "😬 Here we goooo! I love you. We can do this lol.” French and Tisdale have been married since 2014.

Hudgens revealed she was enjoying the start of something new when she graced the 2024 Oscars red carpet with her baby bump in March.

Confirming she was expecting her first baby with baseball player husband Cole Tucker, 27, Hudgens glowed in a black turtle neck long-sleeved dress.

“Oscar’s 2024! One for the books 😝🥳🥰♥️,” she wrote in an Instagram post at the time as she shared snaps of her look.
