Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann has revealed her baby bump for the first time since she announced she was pregnant.

Ferne's spokesperson confirmed to us that she was expecting ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins's baby last month, following his arrest in connection with an alleged acid attack at a London nightclub.

Her rep said: "Ferne is grateful for the sympathetic way news of her pregnancy has been covered and people's support and obviously her first concern is for her child's health.

"Ferne is in no way seeking sympathy for her situation and is determined to do all she can to have a happy and healthy child and face the challenges of being a single parent with all her energy."

Earlier this month, Ferne cut an interview short on her first appearance back on This Morning since she announced her pregnancy, after she broke down in tears.

"I surrounded myself with family and friends and I've got such a strong support group with my mum and my friends – everyone has been so amazing," she told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

"That was my main concern. The reason I haven't spoken to anyone – this is the first time I'm going on record and having a chat – because when most women are pregnant they don't normally announce it or tell anyone until that three-month stage.

"This isn't how I imagined my first pregnancy to be. It's not about what happened. It is about this baby. I'm going to be strong, I'm going to try and keep it together... I really don't want to cry. My main concern and priority is the baby."

Her friend Billie Faiers spoke out the next day to support Ferne.
