Pregnant Jessie James Decker Reveals Baby No. 4 Was a 'Huge Surprise': 'We Had No Plans' (Exclusive)
"It was definitely a shock, but I think that everything happens for a reason," the country singer tells PEOPLE
Jessie James Decker's newest addition wasn't exactly part of her five-year plan.
While chatting with PEOPLE about her partnership with Crate & Kids, the country singer, 35, who is currently expecting her fourth baby, opened up about her pregnancy journey and shared whether she had planned to expand her family with husband Eric Decker.
"I was telling my sister this, I'm like, we all know that I felt finished, but there was this little voice in the back of my head that kept saying that we're missing somebody," Jessie tells PEOPLE. "And I think that's why Eric and I probably never officially closed that chapter because I think we just kind of knew."

"And now that we have this sweet baby boy coming into our lives, I definitely feel sure now that the chapter will be closed after this and our family will be completely complete," adds Jessie, who is mom to sons Forrest, 5, and Eric "Bubby" Jr., 8, plus daughter Vivianne Rose, 9.
While she couldn't be more excited to welcome her baby boy, the expectant mom admits she wasn't exactly planning on having another child.
"It was a huge surprise, a huge shock," she tells PEOPLE. "Not to get too personal, I'm very on top of when and how things are going, and somehow I missed this one."
"And it was definitely a shock, but I think that everything happens for a reason. And I really do think it's all about in God's time. He knew we were ready for this sweet baby boy, and I think we were missing someone. But yeah, it was a surprise, but it was a sweet surprise. We had no plans."
As they prepare to welcome their little guy, the soon-to-be mom of four says she and Eric already have a name picked out.
"Well, then I had a dream, and in the dream, I was holding a baby boy and looking at him and saying his name, and I woke up the next morning, I was like, 'OK, it's definitely a boy. And I know his name now.'"
She went to tell her family about her dream, who didn't believe her at first. But a week later, the doctor confirmed the baby's sex. "Everyone likes the name, so that's good," she says. "There's no fighting me on it."
The mom of three says she's also enjoying decorating her nursery with help from Crate and Kids. "When Crate and Kids had approached me about the idea of doing our new baby's room, I just was so excited because bringing up the fourth kid thing, it had been so long since I had had a baby," she says.
"They just came at the perfect time and made it so easy for me."
