Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson has revealed the sex of her first child at a star-studded baby shower.

The actress shared a series of photos from celebrity party guests - which included singer Demi Lovato and fashion designer Nicky Hilton - to her Instagram stories, revealing that she and husband Brandon Davis are expecting a daughter.

The posts included photos of extravagant pink cakes and presents as well as snaps of Benson and Davis celebrating together, including an image of Davis stood in-front of a neon pink sign reading 'It's a girl'.

Benson's mother, Shannon, also shared her excitement for the upcoming arrival, posting a sweet tribute to the couple alongside various photos from the day to Instagram.

"Wishing you sweet times ahead... I am so happy to be a grandmother for the third time!!" she wrote, revealing the party had been held at the home of Kathy Hilton, mother of Nicky and Paris, adding: "You're going to be amazing parents!".

Benson is best known for her role as Hanna Marin in teen mystery-drama series Pretty Little Liars, which aired from 2010 to 2017. Her most recent TV credit was in Prime Video's psychological thriller series Wilderness alongside Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman.

She was first linked to Davis back in January 2023 after the pair were spotted together at an LA Lakers game. The couple confirmed their engagement in July last year on social media, later marrying in a private ceremony.

This is the first time the couple have publicly shared news of the pregnancy, which was first reported back in November (via PEOPLE).

Benson previously revealed her desire to keep her personal life private, telling Cosmopolitan: "You obviously can't help if you get photographed together. [But] it's more sacred that way. Those private moments are for you and your partner, and I think it's best not to be over-exposed, and you can really protect your relationship if you're not exploiting it."
