A Primark shopper and beauty bargain hunter shared her affordable alternative to a Tom Ford perfume, which could save you over a massive £200. Content creator Debbie, also known as Beauty Glow Girl, revealed some of her top fragrance finds on a recent trip to the retailer.

If you’re on the hunt to find your signature summer scent but don’t want to fork out an arm and a leg, Debbie pointed to some perfumes which could save shoppers over ten times the price tag. One of the biggest saves was the Primak Citron Aqua, costing £3, which she says smells like Tom Ford’s luxury Neroli Portofino.

Tom Ford’s scent comes in three sizes, with the 50ml option retailing for £220, and the 100ml size priced at £294. The perfume offers wearers a “transportive” scent with citrus oils, floral notes and amber undertones.

However, if you opted for Primak Citron Aqua, you can save £214 on the affordable alternative. Debbie wrote in the caption: “Back with some affordable perfumes. This time they’re in @primark - let me know if you’ve tried any of these… Primark’s Hawaii Paradise is £3.50 and is supposed to be an affordable alternative for Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 40 Bom Dia Bright which is £24.

“Primark’s Good Chica perfume is £6 and has been compared to the Carolina Herrera Good Girl perfume for £65. Primark’s Free perfume is £6 and is supposed to be similar to YSL’s Libre which retails for £97.

“Primark’s Citron Aqua is now £3 and has been compared to Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino which retails for an eye watering £220. Primark’s True Destiny is £6 and supposed to be the same as Jimmy Choo’s Blossom which is £76.

“Finally the Primark perfume Lilac Haze is £6 and is supposed to be similar to Mugler’s Lilac Haze which retails for £67.”

Primark fans hurried into the comments section to praise Debbie for her finds. Yvonnedawn1968 said: “Ooh I must check these out!”

Emmath86 wrote, “Oooh I’m heading to primark today. Will check out the Libra and Sol de Janeiro dupes if they have them,” while Janineclo commented, “I keep the a little bottle of the Free one in my work bag in case I forget to put perfume on and always get asked what it is when I wear it, lasts a while too!”
