UK first coming to Primark's Liverpool store

Primark has unveiled a new addition to its Liverpool store in the city centre.

The fashion retailer has announced the opening of a beauty studio. The concession is being operated by Nails - said to be “one of the fastest growing” salons in Ireland.

The salon is open daily, offering treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel sets and a range of brow services from lamination to threading.

Located on the first floor joins the Tasty by Greggs Cafe and the WornWell vintage clothing, both of which opened as part of an extension to the store last year.

Primark director of new business development Tim Kelly said: “We’ve been so pleased with the success of our partnership with Nails in Ireland over the past decade that we’re thrilled to bring the outlet to British shores.

“It’s giving our Liverpool customers even more reasons to visit their local store as we combine beauty and style in a convenient and affordable way for the very first time. This is our 16th beauty concession in the UK, and 30th overall in the business as we continue on our mission to offer unrivalled in-store experiences.”

Nails opened its standalone store in Dublin in 2013. However, it wasn’t until five years later, in 2018, that the company would partnered with Primark to open a beauty studio in its flagship store on Mary Street.

Its arrival in Primark’s Liverpool store is the beauty concessions’ first opening this side of the Irish Sea as it expands its reach to even more customers and beauty fans.

Director of Nails, Orit Brahami, added: “At Nails, the idea was to always give the best customer service and the best beauty experience. It's been a very busy few years growing and developing but we have a very strong dedicated team and our technicians are experts in their craft.

“We are very excited to open our first beauty studio in England and we will continue to meet our customer's expectations. We would like to thank Primark for all these amazing opportunities, the strong partnership we have formed and all their support in this beautiful journey.”

The new salon will be open:

• Monday: 9 am – 8 pm

• Tuesday: 9 am – 8 pm

• Wednesday: 9 am – 8 pm

• Thursday: 9 am – 8 pm

• Friday: 9 am – 8 pm

• Saturday: 8 am – 8 pm

• Sunday: 10.30 am – 5 pm
