A BRADFORD primary school is closed to all pupils today as it is being used as a polling station for the General Election.

Keelham Primary School on Well Heads, Denholme Gate, is offering students remote learning today while the building is used as a polling station.

Voting is taking place between 7am and 10pm in the General Election.

The school will reopen to all pupils tomorrow.

A spokesperson for Keelham Primary School said this morning: "It is with regret that I have to inform you that school will be closed to all pupils on Thursday.

"This includes morning and afternoon Keelham Crew provision.

"As we are sure you are already aware, the General Election is taking place and the school building will be open to the general public for voting from 7am up to 10pm.

"Remote learning will be offered to all pupils."

The spokesperson added: "As far as I am aware, this closure will not impact the planned year six high school transition days.

"School will reopen to all pupils on Friday. This includes morning and afternoon Keelham Crew."
