Prince Harry Is Officially The World’s Most Eligible Bachelor

When George Clooney tied the knot to the gorgeous Amal Alamuddin last year, we all had one question on our lips; WHO IS GOING TO TAKE GEORGE’S CROWN AS THE WORLD’S MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR?

Well thankfully, some clever sorts have looked into that and come to one logical conclusion; Prince Harry of course.

In a new survey, the 31-year-old royal was voted as the most desirable single man, beating former One Direction star, Zayn Malik, to the title.

Other big names to make the list include Ed Sheeran, Leonardo DiCaprio, Harry Styles, and, erm, Twitter founder, Jack Dorsey.

The poll of 1,000 women was conducted by Crown Clinic in Manchester, with the ladies taking part being asked to rank the five most important characteristics when assessing a bachelor’s eligibility.

Researchers found that charisma ranked higher than both good looks and wealth, with ‘being a nice guy’ and having ‘great hair’ also making the list.

Pft, no wonder Harry ‘lion’s mane’ Styles made the list, eh?

Asim Shamalak, a hair transplant surgeon from the Crown Clinic, also noticed that all of the men in the top five have beards or prominent facial hair, explaining: “It’s no surprise that Prince Harry is the world’s most eligible bachelor - we all love him because he is a fun guy who doesn’t take life too seriously.

“He is also seriously handsome, particularly since growing his ginger beard. It is a great message, too, that we have two redheads in the top five with Ed Sheeran coming in at number 4.

“Almost all the men in the top ten have grown beards or prominent facial hair in the last five years, suggesting women really do prefer the hirsute look.

“The other common factor linking the top ten is that they all have great hair.”

In case you’re wondering, here’s the full list of the world’s top ten bachelors:

1. Prince Harry
2. Zayn Malik
3. Leonardo DiCaprio
4. Ed Sheeran
5. Jack Dorsey
6. Jake Gyllenhaal

To be honest, we’d happily marry them all.
