Lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling has divulged that Prince Louis had quite the interaction with his mum, Kate Middleton, during the Trooping the Colour on Saturday.

Princess Kate wowed the crowds with her first public appearance in months following her cancer diagnosis at the memorable event.

The Wales clan showcased a picture of unity as they arrived by car, and while Princes George, Charlotte, and little Louis took a carriage ride from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade, Prince William joined the event on horseback.

During Trooping the Colour, Prince Louis's playful shenanigans were on full display, capturing the hearts of onlookers who saw him boogieing, fidgeting, and even yawning.

The young royal, caught up in his antics, found himself fascinated with a bead-covered blind cord beside the window, reports the Express.

It was then that he popped the important six-word question to his mother, as reported by lip reader Nicola Hickling speaking to The Mirror: "Can I play with the beads? " Princess Kate, showing maternal firmness, responded with: "No. I need you to concentrate on the parade."

Even with Prince Louis's delightful mischief, his elder sister Princess Charlotte was also observed reprimanding him for his actions, according to Hickling.

As Louis continued to dance, Charlotte tried to get him in line, saying: "You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade", only for him to retort: "I won't".

In a bid to coax her brother to behave, Charlotte insisted: "Do as you're told", yet Louis cheekily shot back with a succinct: "Nope."

The six year old was spotted dancing to the march while his siblings and mother remained stationary.

This marked the first public appearance of the Wales children since the previous December.
