Prince Louis steals the show as he yawns and dances during Trooping the Colour parade

All eyes were on the Princess of Wales' as she made her first public outing of 2024, but it was Prince Louis who once again stole the show. In a change from other years, Princess Catherine watched the Trooping the Colour parade from the window at the Duke of Wellington's former office.

She was joined by her children - Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine and six-year-old Prince Louis - as Prince William and the King took part in the parade.

But it wasn't long before Prince Louis appeared to get bored and was spotted yawning, and then he was seen dancing along during the quick march of the Scots Guards to Highland Laddie.

The family had earlier been cheered by crowds in The Mall as they left Buckingham Palace in a carriage procession following the King and Queen. The Princess could be seen smiling and chatting to her children in the carriage before they arrived at Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall.

The royal couple also shared a behind-the-scenes clip as Princess Catherine and her children prepared to leave Buckingham Palace in a carriage.

Kate, 42, revealed in March 2024 that she was undergoing treatment for cancer following abdominal surgery. A statement released on Friday evening confirmed that she would be attending the annual royal event.

She issued a 'personal message' saying she was 'making good progress' and felt buoyed by the support she had received from members of the public.
