Prince of Wales Lays First Wreath at Anzac Day Dawn Service in London's Hyde Park Corner

Prince William laid the first wreath during an Anzac Day dawn service at London’s Hyde Park Corner on Tuesday, April 25.

ANZAC Day is marked by countries across the British Commonwealth, as well as France and Turkey, to commemorate the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps’s service in the First World War.

Among the ANZAC’s contributions to the Allied war effort was the British-led Gallipoli Campaign, during which over 8,000 Australians and nearly 3,000 New Zealanders were killed. Credit: @crowndefensx via Storyful
