Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales are partial to their favourite takeaway now and again - but they enjoy a unique privilege that other royals don't. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reportedly indulge in a takeaway, with Indian and Chinese said to be among their favourites.

While some members of the Royal Family have to pick up their own takeaways from palace gates, William and his wife Kate Middleton get it delivered straight to their front door. According to OK! magazine, the couple confirmed on BBC Radio 1's Scott Mills show that they are 'absolutely' allowed to order a takeaway.

They can still enjoy a treat despite having top chefs at their disposal. During the interview in 2017, Kate revealed her favourite dish is a 'curry, definitely'.

But Prince William admitted he's 'not so good with spice'. He shared that their meals are picked up for them, reports the Irish Mirror.

In a separate appearance on BBC Radio 5 Live's 'That Peter Crouch Podcast', Prince William shed further light on his food habits. The dad-of-two confessed that although he is not a fan of spicy food, he does enjoy a chicken masala occasionally as he is 'not a vindaloo man'.

As revealed on the Table Manners podcast, Princess Eugenie shared her takeaway habits. She said: "So last night we got a curry, which I never do. I never eat them! [My husband Jack Brooksbank ] and I were literally sitting for an hour on Deliveroo, like what on Earth does this mean?"

The cousin of Prince William discussed the logistics of ordering food to the palace. Eugenie revealed that they personally pick up their orders, stating: "We ring down and say "there's a Deliveroo coming", and then we'll get in our pyjamas and drive down and go pick it up."

Eugenie clarified that walking in her pyjamas was not her first choice. When quizzed on why they do not get deliveries straight to their door, she explained it is not offered to her and her family.

It has also been reported that Queen Camilla has a particular liking for fish and chips. A former Royal butler once hinted that Princess Diana would occasionally treat her young sons Prince William and Prince Harry to McDonald's.
