Priyanka Chopra Has Mother-Daughter Beach Day with 2-Year-Old Malti: ‘Sundays Like This’

The actress soaked up the sun and sand with her 2-year-old daughter in a series of clips posted on Instagram

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is having a girls day at the beach!

On Sunday, June 9, Priyanka, 41, posted an Instagram Reel of herself spending some quality time with her adorable 2-year-old daughter Malti.

“Sundays like this ❤️😍🙏🏽 grateful,” the actress, who shares her daughter with husband Nick Jonas, wrote in the caption.

At the beginning of the clip, Priyanka filmed herself sitting on the sand outside of a resort as Malti was seen in the background playing in the water nearby.

Malti then appeared in a following clip looking cute in turquoise swimwear and a pink bucket hat as she scurried along the beach before crouching down for a rest.

Other clips showed the toddler walking past the words, "MAMA MALTI," that had been marked in the sand, and playing beside her mom as she sunbathed on the beach. The mom of one also filmed herself walking closely behind Malti as she flashed a smile at the camera. 

A final sweet shot showed the mother-daughter duo snoozing in bed after their fun day out.

Priyanka and singer Jonas, 32, welcomed their daughter Malti via surrogate on Jan. 15, 2022. She spent her first 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), before arriving home in time for Mother's Day.

Priyanka’s beach day with Malti comes days after she brought her 2-year-old to work with her on the set of her upcoming movie The Bluff while filming in Australia.

On June 5, the actress posted photos on her Instagram Stories of her daughter drawing on a mannequin head as she joined her in hee makeup trailer.

"When mm is in the HMU trailer," Priyanka wrote over the photo. She also shared a photo of Malti holding a large rope on the floor of the room as she added of her daughter, “Practicing her sailing knots.”

Priyanka then joked of the mannequin's head in another photo, “I think ‘Diane’ is coming home with us,” adding a crying with laughter emoji.
