Pro-Abortion-Rights Protesters Demonstrate Outside Indiana Statehouse

Abortion-rights activists demonstrated outside the Indiana Statehouse on July 25, footage online shows, as the state senate assembled for a special session to discuss Republicans’ proposed ban on the procedure.

Video posted to Twitter by user Shawn Knapp shows some of the protesters holding banners and chanting, “My body, my choice.”

Pro-abortion-rights protesters later entered the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis on July 25, amid a special session of the state senate on a proposed bill that would ban all abortions except in cases of rape or incest, or to protect the life of the mother.
