Pro-Palestinian Protesters Set Up Encampment at University of Pennsylvania

Pro-Palestinian protesters gathered on the college green at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on Thursday, April 25, to join a growing trend of college protests across the US.

Footage recorded by Jared Mitovich shows the protest in the Blanche P Levy Park.

Student media said tents were set up on the college green following a protest at 2 pm on Thursday.

The protests come shortly after the University of Pennsylvania banned the student activism group Penn Against the Occupation from campus, the Daily Pennsylvanian reported. Credit: Jared Mitovich via Storyful
