Pro-Recount Protesters Chant in Georgia Capitol after Arrests

Protesters demanding that “every vote be counted” were arrested at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta on November 13, according to local media.

Among those arrested was State Sen. Nikema Williams, who spoke to reporters as police handcuffed her. Williams told cameras she was being arrested because she refused to disperse and never yelled or chanted. Fourteen others were arrested for disrupting the Assembly.
