Pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered at George Washington University in Washington, DC, on Thursday, May 2, as protests continued at the campus.

According to the university, on Thursday morning, demonstrators in the area remained “highly active.”

Footage filmed and posted to X by user @imaancipation shows protesters waving a Palestinian flag in the University Yard on Thursday afternoon.

On Wednesday evening, a small delegation of Republican congresspeople “sparred” with demonstrators at a pro-Palestinian encampment on the campus, local media reported.
