Public told to call 999 immediately if missing schoolboy, 14, from Basildon is seen

People have been asked to call 999 immediately if they see a young boy who is missing from Basildon. Officers from Essex Police are trying to find Telaqwon Kamara who has disappeared from south Essex.

Telaqwon is described as black, around 5ft 7 ins tall, has short dark hair and is of slim build. He was last seen wearing his school uniform - a black blazer, a white shirt and tie.

He was also wearing a black padded jacket and black shoes. Essex Police say he has links to London and Manchester.

A spokesperson said: "We’re worried about him and need to find him to make sure he’s ok. If you’ve seen him, or have any information as to his whereabouts, please call us on 999 quoting incident 0044 of 15 May."
