Pyjamas for a purpose as St John’s pupils raise funds for twin toilets in Zambia

Children at St John's Catholic Primary School in Tiverton wore their pyjamas to school to raise money to twin a toilet in Zambia, providing sanitary and hygiene facilities.

In an assembly recently, the pupils celebrated that the school community had raised enough money from children, families, the staff, governors and the parish family to twin two toilets.

The school 's GIFT team (Growing in Faith Together) who led this event, celebrated after the school received two framed photos of the toilets which St John’s have twinned with in Zambia.

The pupils wish to thank everyone who kindly donated to this cause.
