A final photograph of the Queen with her great-grandchildren, taken by Kate Middleton, includes a secret tribute to a missing youngster. The Royal Family commemorated a poignant anniversary yesterday - what would have been the birthday of the late Queen.

She was born 98 years ago on April 21, 1926, and undoubtedly, she will be in the thoughts of her royal relatives at this time, who will treasure their memories with her. To commemorate last year's anniversary, which was the first time her birthday had been celebrated since her passing, an unseen photo of her with some of her youngest relatives, taken by the Princess of Wales, was unveiled.

The picture, taken at Balmoral just weeks before her death, depicts the former monarch on a sofa, surrounded by the young royals, all grinning next to their adored 'Gan Gan'.

Sitting next to her is her oldest great-grandchild Savannah Phillips, Peter Phillips' eldest daughter, as well as Mia Tindall, who is holding her baby brother Lucas. Standing behind them is Lena Tindall, Zara and Mike Tindall's middle child, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Isla Phillips and Prince Louis.

Standing proudly at the rear are the Queen's youngest grandchildren, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn children of Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. Notably absent from the poignant family moment with the late monarch is Princess Beatrice's daughter Sienna, reports the Mirror.

However, eagle-eyed royal enthusiasts have still managed to spot Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi in the photograph.

In the backdrop of the image, next to an orchid, there's a framed picture that devotees are convinced shows little Sienna alongside her dad Edo Mapelli Mozzi. Some have specifically identified it as Sienna in what seems to be a baptismal dress, suggesting the photo may have been taken following her christening in April 2022.

One observant fan commented: "I saw Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi's picture frame with her father Edo Mapelli Mozzi."

Another chimed in: "We have yet to get any official photos or appearances of Sienna Mapelli Mozzi, but she can be seen with her father Edo in what looks like the throne room at St. James's Palace after her Christening. Sienna was christened in the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace in April 2022."

Missing from the snapshot are the Queen's other great-grandchildren, Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet, and August Brooksbank. Since the Queen passed away, another great-grandchild has joined the family Princess Eugenie's second son, Ernest.

Last month, the photograph once again hit headlines when a leading picture agency alleged that the image had been altered. Getty Images has declared the photo was "digitally enhanced at source" and has appended an editor's note to the picture, which Kensington Palace distributed in April 2023.

Getty Images released a statement confirming: "Getty Images can confirm that in accordance with its editorial policy it has placed an editor's note on a handout image stating the image has been digitally enhanced at source."

This incident marks the second time an image has been identified as digitally altered following a Mother's Day photo of Kate with her children that was released previously.
