What did you miss?

Celebrity Race Across The World saw McFly drummer Harry Judd and his mum Emma nearly hit breaking point as the stakes rise in the competition.

Racing across Europe, they are competing with Alex Beresford and his dad Noel as well as Bobby Monger and his sister Bonny — plus Mel Blatt with mum Helene.

One stand out moment from the Race Across The World saw Judd, 37, rushing his mum, 63, as they got nearer to the finish line for this leg of the race.

The McFly drummer continues to push his mum to her limits to ensure they stay on track for first place — and he even had to run ahead to make sure they still got the bus.

In a tense moment, the mum scolded her son for not allowing them to have enough time to get to their next destination.

Later, she decided she thinks "enough is enough" and she makes her point about taking time to slow down. It doesn't impact their position in the race because the couple arrive first at the check point.

What, how and why?

Speaking to the camera, the 63-year-old admitted she was struggling to keeping up with her son and she decides to confront him about it.

She said: "I’m tired today. I’m pushing myself and I’m struggling a bit. I’ve got to stand up for myself a bit more and say, 'No I’m not doing this.' Just be more assertive perhaps."

With Judd keen to get to Sarajevo, he's let down when the next bus isn't until 7.30am.

His exhausted mum made a stand and convinced him the best thing to do is wait until the morning bus.

She told him: "I personally think we just stay tonight and get the 7.30. See if we can get a hostel or something. Enough is enough now. We're pushing it too far now. It's just not worked out."

Social media was awash with fans criticising the musician for having his mum race for the latest bus as they race across Europe.

Among the sea of comments, fans wrote X formerly known as Twitter: "Harry, stop running your lovely mum into the ground & take a bit of time to enjoy the trip!"

"I wonder if Harry Judd is enjoying watching this back…"

"Me at the TV watching harry and emma running to the checkpoint when they are miles ahead of the others."

"Feeling slightly disappointed if Harry first… he's joyless and way too competitive."

"Harry's poor mum. I was always brought with the attitude of it you’re on time you’re late."

"Ugh Harry is just the worst. Let your poor mother rest a little."

"Harry… your mum looks fooked, give her a break!"

What else happened?

Elsewhere in the reality show, Beresford has really redeemed himself in the eyes of the viewers with an extraordinary act of kindness.

The weatherman made a lovely gesture when he realised his fellow competitor Monger, who tragically lost both his legs in an accident, was struggling with his artificial limbs.

Instead of racing ahead and beating him, the ITV star along with his dad Noel teamed up with Monger and his sister.

In a heartwarming moment, the group finished joint second at the checkpoint sparking an outpouring of praise on social media.

Comments read: "Such a lovely gesture by Alex that they all finish together - Billy must have been in such pain and still cheerful."

"How lovely of Alex and his dad to help Billy and his sister and finish the leg together. Made me quite emotional."

"Respect to Alex and Noel thinking of Billy and Bonny."

"That’s annoying I didn’t like Alex but now I guess I’m going to have to change my mind."

"Well I didn’t expect that from Alex, fair play to him."

"Love what Alex has done. Great teamwork from all. Bless Billy."
