Rachel Stevens has revealed her wrist injury has healed "really well” and confirmed that she will make her Dancing On Ice debut next week.

The former S Club 7 star was due to skate for the first time during the opening night of the competition but fell during rehearsals and hurt herself, and was forced to pull out.

She was on the ITV show on Sunday to cheer on the rest of the contestants and told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield she was doing well and would be back next week.

The star, 43, said that she and her pro partner Brendyn Hatfield had returned to the ice this week after rehearsing in a dance studio.

She added that they would be skating a Moulin Rouge-themed routine for next weekend’s Movie Week.

“I was absolutely gutted,” she said of her injury. “I was so upset.”

The singer said she had been “working really really hard” to get back out onto the ice.

Sunday night's programme saw the remaining celebs taking to the ice, after the first group showed off their moves last week.

This week's skaters included Paralympian Stefanie Reid and rugby star Ben Foden, who caused a stir by flashing his chest on the ice.

The sports star ripped his shirt open to flaunt his abs as he performed with pro partner Robin Johnstone for the first time.

Willoughby couldn’t help commenting on it, asking Foden if he had popped a button during the dramatic move.
