Rainbow Shines as Storms Hit Wind Farms in Texas's South Plains

A rainbow appeared amid thunderstorms as they swept passed wind farms in the South Plains region of Texas on Tuesday, September 19, as captured in dramatic timelapse video from the Nader Navigators storm-chasing group.

The Nader Navigators told Storyful that “multiple intense supercells” had moved over the plains in northwest Texas, “bringing rain relief to large portions of the area.” This footage was captured near Medicine Mound in Hardeman County, they said.

The storms also brought heavy hail to Quanah, a town about 10 miles northwest of Medicine Mound. Credit: Nader Navigators @onlynaders via Storyful
