Greg Taylor insists Celtic stars were not discussing Rangers' last two performances with glances across the city censored from the dressing room.

That is despite the left-back conceding that he did catch a glimpse of the disappointing results from Philippe Clement's side on Sky Sports News as they slumped to defeat to Ross County and were held to a goalless stalemate by Dundee. The disappointing results for the Light Blues have put Celtic in pole position to win another Scottish Premiership crown this term.

Brendan Rodgers' men sit at the summit with a three-point lead over their rivals, while also boasting a superior goal difference with just five games to go. Celtic also have the advantage of welcoming Rangers to Parkhead during the next Old Firm showdown.

But attention turns to Aberdeen and the Scottish Cup semi-final this Saturday for the Hoops - but that didn't stop Taylor being put on the spot about the action across the city. The Scotland international was quizzed on what the chat was inside Lennoxtown following Rangers draw with Dundee.

He responded: "I don't think it's something that is really discussed. Most of the focus is on ourselves, but of course you watch Sky Sports News and whatever it is. So, you understand every teams' results in our league but our predominant focus is on ourselves."

The Celtic star was then pressed on if he was "surprised" by Rangers recent results. He shrugged before answering: "I don't really take much notice of other teams. I know results but performances across the city is for them to worry about."
