Raunchy Display At 'Family' Fireworks Event Leaves Crowd Totally Bemused

Sparks flew at a recent fireworks night, but not in the way you might think.

The ‘Firework Spectacular’ night at East Grinstead Football Club in West Sussex was perhaps a little more raunchy than some parents might have expected.

Before the fireworks were even set off on Halloween night, things were already a bit explosive, thanks to the performance of two leather-clad performers in skimpy outfits.

Samantha Harberd and Flic Louise, from Xtreme Beatz Dance Academy, performed a series of stunts, such as fire-breathing and shooting out showers of sparks using angle-grinders.

It totally overshadowed the children’s Halloween fancy dress competition.

The show at the GAC stadium left many onlookers at the ‘family’ event a little bemused.

One mother tweeted: “The dad next to us had to explain to kids why a woman had fire coming out of her bum!”

But town mayor, Councillor Dick Sweatman had no problem with the raunchy display.

“I don’t think anyone minded that the girls’ were dressed in skimpy outfits,” he said.

“Their performances were very theatrical and I think everyone enjoyed it.

“I think most people were just worried about them being cold.”

Because of the fireworks event, East Grinstead Town FC had to play their home FA Trophy match earlier that afternoon at the ground of opponents Bognor Regis Town. They lost 3-0.
