Get ready for pawsome party in Middlesbrough as dog owners invited for weekend of fun and fro-licks

A dog party, calling on owners to 'party like a cockapoo or dachshund', is set to take place this weekend on Teesside.

The RDA Unicorn Centre, in Stainton Way, Middlesbrough, is the chosen venue for the gathering of doodle mix and sausage dog enthusiasts. Attendees can expect an off-lead play area equipped with agility apparatus, pop-up canine stalls, and 80s music. There's also going to be a contest with categories such as waggiest tail and prettiest girl among others.

Anticipating an eventful meetup, enlivened by a crowd that could reach up to 100 doodles, organisers said: "We are really excited for this event, the best hour of your dog's week, up to 100 doodles attending."
