Andy Cohen hosted The Bravos from the Paris Theater in Las Vegas amid the three-day convention. The show was pre-taped and expected to air on Sunday, Nov. 5. Some of Gunvalson’s best moments on RHOC aired showcasing her ups and downs her signature “Woohoo!” and “Whoop it up!” made the cut alongside complaints about getting a family van to take her family to the airport.
Gunvalson was then surprised when some of the housewives from RHOC‘s past appeared on stage to hand her the award. Jo De La Rosa and Lauri Peterson, who appeared with Gunvalson on the inaugural season made the stage, alongside Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino.
“If you would’ve told me back in 2006 that Vicki Gunvalson would still be on TV 18 years later, I wouldn’t have believed it,” Peterson said.
Gunvalson received a standing ovation as she made her way on to the stage.
“I’m so thrilled to be here at the third BravoCon,” she said. “I want to thank my sisterhoods of all my Housewives and friends and the cast members that we filmed with season one 18 years ago — I love you all.”
Gunvalson started to break when thanking Real Housewives producers Cohen and Scott Dunlop saying that they saw something in her that she herself didn’t see at the time. The insurance broker also thanked her fans “who supported me and love me in all my shit life that I’ve had. It has not been easy.”
“When I started this show Season 1, Mike and Brianna were like 18 and 19 years old, they are now 38 and 37… Brianna has four children. And I want you to all know that I did not take a family van to get here,” she said before ending her speech with a nod to one of her iconic lines, “And I’ve never been with multiple partners in my life.”
Gunvalson then brought out an orange to give to Cohen and hint that she would like to return as a full time housewife to RHOC.
The night ended with Cohen bringing the shotski and asked Gunvalson to pick two other Bravolebrities to celebrate with. Gunvalson picked Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll and Married to Medicine’s newest star and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks.
