Yahoo News Reality TV star visits Watford children after marathon run
Reality TV star Spencer Matthews has met with some disabled Watford children ahead of his 30-marathon challenge.
The Made in Chelsea favourite was at Playskill in St Albans Road on Tuesday (July 2) ahead of his record attempt to run 30 marathons in 30 days on sand for Global’s Make Some Noise campaign, in the Jordanian Desert from July 29.
He completed a warm-up marathon from Leicester Square, visiting charities the campaign supports along the way, before finishing at Playskill - which is receiving £55,000 to fund physiotherapy.

Spencer said: “Playskill is one of the incredible small charities that Global’s Make Some Noise supports and I’ve seen first-hand the amazing work that they do.
“I heard some of the personal stories from those benefiting from their phenomenal work. It was such a humbling morning and some of the personal stories will drive me through the tougher times in the desert.”

Playskill CEO Niki Michael highlighted that the Hertfordshire charity, which provides physical therapies and family support for pre-school aged children, relies entirely on donations to keep the doors open.
“Spencer’s visit shines a spotlight on Playskill, allowing us to spread the word to families who might need our help,” she added. “We wish Spencer the very best with his challenge.”
