Who is Rebecca Cooke? Phil Foden girlfriend expecting third child with Man City star

Manchester City star Phil Foden has left the England Euro 2024 squad to return to the UK and be present for the birth of his third child with girlfriend Rebecca Cooke.

A statement from the Football Association on Wednesday said: "Phil Foden has temporarily left the England camp and returned to the UK for a pressing family matter.”

It has since been reported that the Premier League player of the season has temporarily departed the camp to witness the birth of his third child. Foden and Cook already have two children together and will welcome a third in the near future.

Five-year-old Ronnie has become an internet sensation on Instagram with his antics in the Man City dressing room with them having a younger little girl.

Foden's partner is Rebecca Cooke, who is believed to be the same age as the Man City academy graduate, having been born in 2000. Like Foden, she hails from Stockport, reports the Mirror.

Cooke, Foden's long-term girlfriend, has maintained a low profile, choosing not to make her social media accounts public. Similarly, Foden has kept images of her on his own social media accounts to a minimum.

The couple, who met during their school days, previously lived in a £2million mansion in the affluent Bramhall area of Manchester. They shared the home with Foden's parents, as the 24-year-old footballer values his close-knit family, until 2021 before he purchased a £3million mansion in Prestbury.

Foden purchased his first house at the tender age of 18 after making his Premier League breakthrough and becoming the youngest footballer to ever receive a Premier League winner's medal. The couple are often spotted strolling with their firstborn around the local area, but they generally prefer to keep a low profile.

Foden and Cooke are parents to two children. Their first child, a son named Ronnie, was born in January 2019. Despite their young age, the couple has shown maturity through their journey into parenthood. In April 2021, they announced that they were expecting their second child.

It was later revealed that they would be welcoming a daughter, and True, who born in July 2021, is now two. Phil and Rebecca celebrated the news of their upcoming arrival in April by holding a baby shower which featured a flurry of blue and white balloons and a huge LED sign that read 'baby Foden'.
