How we live out our final days has, in recent years, become a major topic of discussion, and not a moment too soon.

At Britannia Care, providing outstanding performance, outstanding Quality of Care has always been central to the Home’s ethos

Throughout the year the team at Britannia Care ensure that there are plenty of activities available to involve those residents in their care. Crafting, gardening and baking are all popular activities.

The Britannia Care team are also proactive in providing day trips and excursions throughout the year, too, but at this time of year – late spring and into summer – with the weather improving, then a visit to the area’s stunning and plentiful parks as well as day trips to the coast and countryside form a major and popular part of Britannia Care’s care provision.

“We believe that it is important that we offer our residents a variety of activities,” said  Mr Choudhry Inayat Khan, who established Britannia Care over 33 years ago, “so when the sun shines, we think that it is important that we provide our residents with the options to enjoy the great outdoors. Many of our residents were keen gardeners before needing our care services, so I am particularly pleased that we can offer the gardens at Britannia Care so that they can continue to enjoy their hobby.”
