Record-Breaking Snow Piles Up in Portland

More than 10 inches of snow piled up in Portland, Oregon, on February 22 as a coast-to-coast winter storm threatened millions with blizzard conditions and frigid temperatures, the National Weather Service (NWS) warned.

Adam Becenti said he filmed this footage in Portland on Thursday night as snow accumulated on roads and sidewalks downtown. It would eventually snow 10.8 inches, breaking the daily record, and was the snowiest day in the city since January 21, 1943, according to local media.
