Red Arrows Delight Coronation Crowd in London

The Red Arrows delighted those gathered for coronation festivities with a flypast visible from the Southbank Centre in London on Saturday, May 6.

Footage recorded by @AudreyEager shows the the Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, flying along the River Thames in central London.

The Red Arrows were part of a reduced flypast on Saturday afternoon, marking the newly-crowned king and queen’s balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace.

The flypast was originally meant to consist of 60 aircraft but most were grounded on the day due to poor weather conditions, according to the Royal Air Force. Credit: @AudreyEager via Storyful
