Trooping the Colour is taking place in London today (Saturday, June 15). The annual event takes place in the capital to mark the Official Birthday of King Charles III.

The monarch is set to attend the event after returning to public duties after being diagnosed with cancer. Princess Kate is also expected to attend - as confirmed by the palace on Friday evening - as she also continues to undergo treatment for cancer.

As part of the event, the Red Arrows will be carrying out a flypast. The iconic RAF squadron will be taking off from their base in Lincolnshire to make their way to the event - with their flightpath set to take them over Essex on their way to London.
