Japan will once again soon play host to some of the best VALORANT teams in the world, at a venue that's fit for the Olympics, no less.

Red Bull has announced it will be hosting the Red Bull Home Ground #4 in Tokyo from 3 to 5 November at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall.

The Ryōgoku Kokugikan can accommodate nearly 6,000 fans, and has previously hosted sumo events, live performances and even Olympic-grade boxing.

Red Bull Home Ground #4 will feature a total of eight teams, with six receiving direct invites while two others will be coming from Last Chance Qualifiers for Europe and Japan.

Last year's tournament, held in Manchester, United Kingdom in December 2022, saw the United States' 100 Thieves bag the US$50,000 grand prize after a perfect run.

The participating teams in Red Bull Home Ground #4 will be revealed over the coming weeks while tickets will be going on sale on 27 September.

The event will also feature Iain Chambers as the host while Tom "TOMBIZZ" Bissmire, Mitch "MitchMan" McBride, Seth "Achilios" King and Clinton "Paperthin" Bader will be on the casting and analytics desk.

Red Bull Home Ground #4 will be the second major VALORANT tournament hosted in Japan this year.

In June, the country hosted VALORANT Masters Tokyo, where European powerhouse Fnatic asserted their dominance over the scene and won US$350,000 out of the tournament's US$1 million prize pool.

Red Bull said in a press release that Red Bull Home Ground #4 "continues the brand´s commitment to supporting the VALORANT at both the professional and grassroots level" alongside Red Bull Campus Clutch, the open global VALORANT tournament for students, which also makes a return this year.
