Remembering Needler's of Hull in pictures - the city's long-lost sweet factory

Mrs Olive Pearson operating a machine in the "enrobement" department at Hull sweet-makers, Needlers Ltd. Her job was to make sure the centres were properly coated with chocolate before going on to be "dressed" in foil

'Mr. R. Wilson, foreman in the panning department, comes from Leeds. He joined Needlers recently and has moved to a house in Willerby'. Date filed 19-2-1971
