The Repair Shop's Jay Blades has announced his engagement to fiancée Lisa-Marie Zbozen, revealing that her ring is extra special as he created it himself in collaboration with his co-star Richard Talman.

On his Instagram, he shared a photograph of Zbozen showing off her ring and a tattoo of the word 'Love' on her finger, as well as a picture of the pair on a sunny beach together.

"Good afternoon all, Lunchtime Treat," Jay wrote. "It gives me great pleasure to announce that I got engaged to @lisamariezbozen.

"We wanted to share this news with you as we are very happy & hope to bring the same happiness your way. Ring designed by me & made by @rtfj."

Plenty of Jay's famous friends and fans wrote messages of congratulations, including Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Strictly Come Dancing's Luba Mushtuk and BBC Breakfast and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Louise Minchin.

Earlier this year, fellow The Repair Shop star Will Kirk tied this knot with his own fiancée, with their big day having been delayed from 2020 due to the pandemic. Multiple Repair Shop co-stars attended the ceremony, while Talman once again worked on the ring.
