Rescue Operations Continue Amid Flooding in Brazil

More than 300 officers have participated in rescue operations amid catastrophic flooding in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, the country’s Federal Police said on Sunday, May 5.

By May 6, the death toll from the flooding had risen to 78, with 108 people still missing, according to local news reports.
