Forest fires burning in Argentina’s Cordoba province advanced on September 30, encroaching on Villa Carlos Paz, according to local reports.

Footage taken in Villa Carlos Paz shows resident forming a bucket line in an attempt so extinguish flames.

The governor of Cordoba Province, Juan Schiaretti, noted that the region was experiencing the driest conditions in the last 65 years.
