Residents to vote on Harmony ISD’s $25M bond
BIG SANDY, Texas (KETK) – Harmony Independent School District voters will decide on a $25 million bond on Election Day, that if passed will increase safety and include classroom additions.

According to the school district, the focus of the bond it to accommodate enrollment growth. The projects that the bond will fund include:
Classroom additions for third, fourth and fifth grade
Upgrades to the high school including special ed
Increase safety with an enclosed building connector
Improvements to the band hall
“The Harmony ISD 2024 bond will be a proposed $0.30 tax increase,” the school district said.
On their website, a tax calculator is available for residents to see how much their property tax would increase if the bond is passed.
People who are registered voters within Harmony ISD will be able to vote on the bond on Election Day which is May 4.
