Reuben Owen plans first holiday with girlfriend Sarah but they won't be alone

Our Yorkshire Farm's Reuben Owen is set to leave the UK for the first time on a trip with his girlfriend to the romantic country of France - but they won't be alone. The trip is a thank you from Reuben to Sarah and his friend Tom who both work with him on his new digger business.

Reuben, 18, shared on his new Channel 5 show Life In The Dales how the team deserved a getaway for all of their hard work. The group was seen gearing up to depart the UK as they discussed what they would do once there, including the possibility of skiing.

Reuben was spotted perusing a French guidebook while he and Sarah were seen gathering supplies in a teaser for next Thursday's episode Life in The Dales.

Sarah, 17, also revealed on the latest episode that she might have plans to move on from the business. The youmgster revealed she had always dreamt of becoming a firefighters.

Sarah, who started dating Reuben in around 2021, headed off to the local station to be put through her paces with a fitness test. She told viewers: "From like 6 I first wanted to be a firefighter because it was a cool career.

"Now I'm realising that when I was a kid I maybe had a good idea. It seems like a good idea for life is to help other people through theirs."

Sarah said she would be back to do more training to work on her fitness. She added: "I'm still keen, I still want to do it."

The series, Reuben Owen: Life In The Dales, will be back on Channel 5 next Thursday, May 9 at 8pm.
