Ridvan Yilmaz Rangers 'question mark' but one Gers man back for Hearts cup clash

Rangers will have Mohamed Diomande available when they take on Hearts - but there is still a question mark surrounding Ridvan Yilmaz.

The midfielder has been out for a short time after having surgery on his thumb but manager Philippe Clement will be able to call on him either from the start of from the bench at Hampden. But one Gers player who may not take part in the Scottish Cup semi-final is Yilmaz.

It had been hoped the Turkish left-back wouldn't be out for long after withdrawing from his national squad but as yet he has not returned. Each week, Clement has suggested he was not far off but once again he has admitted there is still doubt around his availability.

The Light Blues had Borna Barisic at left-back during defeat to Ross County and he was criticised for his performance before being dropped and replaced by Dujon Sterling for the draw in Dundee.

Asked for team news, he said: "Diomande will be available, Ridvan is still a question mark for Sunday."
