Ring doorbell takes action after Martin Lewis forced to warn customers

Ring doorbell has slashed its prices by 40 per cent - after Martin Lewis was forced to issue advice to avoid paying more. BBC Sounds podcast star Mr Lewis, who runs Money Saving Expert, spoke out in the wake of the Ring doorbell hike back in April.

The ITV star had a workaround for Ring doorbell customers to avoid the impending hike. Now, Ring has cut prices across its line-up of video doorbells, indoor and outdoor security cameras, sensors and more by as much as 40% in a blockbuster sale.

It comes after Mr Lewis tweeted: “Beat the Ring doorbell 43% March price hike. I know many are annoyed, so there's a possible work around (still double-checking but thought I'd get it out). Cancel now get a pro-rata refund (you may lose saved files tho)
