‘RIP Daddy’: Vanessa Hudgens Pays Touching Tribute To Her Father A Week After His Death

Actress Vanessa Hudgens has paid a touching tribute to her father after he died from stage four cancer.

The 27-year-old today shared online a picture of a flower-adorned framed photo of her father Greg, dressed in his firefighter uniform and wrote: ‘Rest in peace daddy.’

It appears the photo was taken at a burial site.

Vanessa’s father died January 30 – a day before his daughter began her turn as Rizzo in Grease Live.

Vanessa posted this image on Instagram today

The actress announced his death on Twitter and assured fans she would still do the show.

She wrote: ‘I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer. Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers. Tonight, I do the show in his honour.’

After the live show, the actress (pictured below in a warm up for the show) took to Instagram to show her gratitude., writing: ‘I can’t believe @gogrease is OVER! Grand opening and grand closing. Thank you to everyone who watched and supported me last night. Doing #greaselive was one of the most incredible experiences and I’m so glad you guys liked it as much as I did. Till next time Rizz… ❤ #pinkladyforlife.’
